• To report inappropriate content in a discussion or photo, please use the report abuse icon. The icon is a box with an! inside located next to each discussion entry.

• If there is something on a user's profile that is inappropriate, please contact myLot and our moderators will investigate the issue.

• The best thing to do if and when you encounter such a situation is report it to myLot and simply ignore them. 99.9% of the time they will soon leave you alone.

• If they are on your friends list, you can simply remove them as a friend, delete any comments they leave on your profile page, and delete any messages they send you via the myLot Mail system.

• If you are being harassed in a discussion, simply report this as abuse and the user will be dealt with accordingly.

• If the user is spamming in a discussion, please use the report abuse icon to report the spammer and our Moderators will investigate the report.

• If you believe that your copyright – protected work has been copied and posted on myLot in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please use the report abuse feature and provide the following information: 1) an electronic or physical signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest; 2) a description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed; 3) a description of where the material that you claim is infringing is located on the website; 4) your address, telephone number, and email address; 5) a written statement by you that the above information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.

• First, try to retrieve the password for your account through the Password Retrieval Tool.

• Once you get your password, you can log into your account and change the password to your account.

• If you can't log into your account at all, and you aren't receiving the password for your account, contact myLot immediately and we can verify that you are the owner of the profile. Please remember to use a secure password, do not use your username, 123456, or any combination of words and numbers that may be easy to figure out.
