What is RSS?
RSS stands for “Really Simple Syndication”. RSS is a web feed format used to provide
myLot web content to other websites and news aggregators. The RSS feed contains
web content or summaries of web content and a link back to the full content in an
XML file. This facilitates the syndication of our web content as well as providing
a way for myLot frequent users to easily track updates on our site.
How do I use it?
RSS feeds can be used by downloading one of the free RSS Aggregators that are available.
Search for “RSS aggregator” and you will find plenty of options. After installation, they usually work by copy and pasting the url from our RSS button into the aggregator.
You can also use the feeds with latest versions of the major web browsers. Internet
Explorer 7.0, Firefox 1.5 and Netscape 8.0 will all show an RSS button at the right
side of the address bar. They will automatically add the feed to your browser.
Another way many people use RSS feeds is by incorporating content into weblogs, or "blogs". Blogs are web pages comprised of usually short, frequently updated items
and web links.
What content does myLot syndicate via RSS?

The feeds are provided free of charge for use by individuals and non-profit organizations
for personal, non-commercial uses.
We ask that you provide attribution to myLot in connection with your use of the
feeds. If you provide this attribution in text, please use: "myLot." If you provide
this attribution with a graphic, please use the myLot logo that we have included
in the feed itself.
We reserve all rights in and to the myLot logo, and your right to use the myLot
logo is limited to providing attribution in connection with these RSS feeds.
myLot also reserves the right to require you to cease distributing these feeds at
