Here are ten ways in my opinion that blogs have changed the Internet: 1. Blogs are making it easier for people to have their own website. A person doesn’t need to know html to have their own blog. 2. A person can set up a blog for free because of sites like blogspot.com and wordpress.com 3. More personal [...]

I agree.
I read in the paper yesterday, that it´s very popular to blogg.
it´s a great way if you like to share your daily life with others.
But I´m not the person who like to share my life with blogging

Here are ten ways in my opinion that blogs have changed the Internet:
1. Blogs are making it easier for people to have their own website. A person doesn’t need to know html to have their own blog.
2. A person can set up a blog for free because of sites like blogspot.com and wordpress.com.
3. More personal information is being recorded online than ever before. Personal diaries are now shared with many readers.
4. Internet marketing is adopting the blog as a tool of the trade. This will lead to less email spam, as well as much more updated product and service information. The end result of course will be more blog pages.
5. Blogs, like other Internet advances constantly evolve. We now have not only our traditional blogs, but also photo blogs, audio blogs (podcasts) and even video blogs, know popularly as blogs.
6. With the advent of new blog styles we also have new Internet terminology related to blogs and blogging. Such terminology as rss - real simple syndication, podcasting - the use of audio files, XML - a form of code for use with rss, and many other new terms are becoming household words for the competive user.
7. Many companies are now using blogs to communicate with their employees.
8. A blog as communication tool means less email and less chance for that email message to be caught in spam filters.
9. Spammers now are working to find ways to use blogs to their advantage. An unfortunate side effect however, it is still a way in that blog technology is changing the Internet landscape.
10. And last but not necessarily least, with a blog you can provide updated content to any website that exists. Another technology due to the wonder of rss.

one thing good about blogging is that you can earn some money too, at the same time you can share your writings with other people. if you have a good blog and you put google adsense, you are supposed to earn quite a lot.

Of course blogs have changed the internet, they've changed elections, they've changed my own daily life (I have 3 blogs on three separate websites). I can't believe anyone would think otherwise. Are they living under a rock?

Market_Italia (36)  1 month ago

A blog is easier to change that a web site, and you do not need to know html. I know it and it may be a useful option, but it is not a must.
In my opinion blogs are voices of the Net.

I started a small business on the web for web designers.

I guess blogs have basically empowered the people to communicate more, especially those that they couldn't air in the real world. We could be faceless, but never voiceless.
