Disclaimer: This review was written by Tom S., a good friend of mine. I had intended to bring him with me to G3 since he had attended a past concert and was a guitar aficionado. I felt that he would be a great asset to the review. Unfortunately the publicist told me there was only one ticket available, so I asked that he go in my place and write the review himself.

I've had to pleasure to see G3 back in Sydney Australia late 2006. It was surely the best concert that I've been too. Back in that tour, it was with John Petrucci (truely amazing, my favourite guitar), Steve Vai (awesome interaction and awesome band too) and Joe Satriani (who is a great guy all round). I've also had the pleasure of seeing a Paul Gilbert clinic a few months back an he was truely inspirational and exciting to watch. So if your a guitar player like myself, or like seeing some cool and technically gifted musicians or just looking to have a good time and see some great live music, then don't miss G3 when it comes around too your city. It will be a lifelong remain (for myself a less) and you surely wont regret it. G3 rocks.
