KB is a self-centered player. The Lakers are at his whim. However, if the Lakers traded KB they would be stupid. 1. His contract is so big it would be near impossible. 2. Any team with the talent to compensate the Lakers for KB in a trade are title contenders anyway and wouldnt give up the chance for a run at the title.
The Lakers need to find a way to rid themselves of the scrubs on their team for quality players. I am not a big fan of KB but he is a winner just needs the right pieces around him to make it all happen.
