if you could play any character in a stage musical, who would it be?

Ever since I was a little girl, I've wanted to be Rizzo in Grease. Looking back I think that's a little weird lol. But I grew up on the wrong side of the tracks and always identified with her a little more.

If I had the looks & the youth I'd like to be the WAC in South Pacific (the one that gets to sing "I'm going to wash that man right out of my hair.")

Now I'd probably do better as Bloody Mary in the same show.

I would love to play Rizzo in Grease! I would even love to play Sandy! I think I could play either role. I am more like Sandy, shy and a goodie two shoes, and I fall in love way too fast, but I would rather be more LIKE Rizzo, tough on the outside, and able to pretend things don't get to her, and willing to stick up for herself regardless. AND especially, not letting a MAN dictate her life. I think I could play either part, Sandy because I am like her, Rizzo because I want to be like her! How fun would that be?

Since I don't know about too many musicals but I know I have seen some. I think I'd like to be Micheal Jackson in The Whiz. I think he played the scare crow and I only pick him because I want to know what he is thinking!

Assuming I could sing and dance..lol because I am not very good I would love to play rosie in bye bye birdie. I would also love to play Rizzo in Grease or Frenchie, I would also love to play mis hanagan in Annie and of course Dorthy in the wizard of oz. I agree that Janet from rocky would be great but you take that and I'll play columbia..

I'd love to play Frenchie in Grease. I love her character, her mannerisms and her storyline. It helps that she's really pretty with a cute accent too! I'm a huge fan of the Rocky Horror Show, but I don't think I could do any of the characters in it justice... x

I think Janet in Rocky Horror Show would be awesome. I'd also love to play Eponine in Les Miserables, or Kim in Miss Saigon. Or Cousin Kevin in The Who's Tommy -- ok yeah, it's a male role, but it would be a lot of fun.

Eliza Dolittle, and I would want to kick the bejesus out of that mysoginist 'enry 'iggins! I used to think that was such a romantical muscial, but now I see him for what he is lol.

Eponine from Les Miserables. Quite a tragic character but she gets a great song (On My Own).

It would have to be Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof. I'm Jewish, but I have always thought that this is a really good part and the songs are in my vocal range. The only trouble I'd have is the dancing part. I've done some acting before, but it always had very limited footwork. Maybe I'll get a chance to play this role someday. Maybe once I get closer to the chaacters age I'll make more of an effort to get that part.
