do you get shy when someone stares at you?

well, when somebody stares at me, i feel awkward about it. nd yes, i feel shy about it too.. i dont know it's like as if that person is trying to scrutinize me by merely looking at me... and as if that person is belittling me..hehehe i really dont enjoy that experiences.. and i sont mid them to.. why should i care?! why should i feel bad?! i dont give them the satisfaction by ruining my day!:) and i dont do it to people too.. i just look at people when am curious..:) or when we are introduced, but if not..i usually enjoy my own self..i'm not fond of minding other people's lives and businesses..hehehe why?! because i do not want them to do the same to me..:)

When I was in my teenage I had felt some sort of inferiority when I see plus sized persons. But through years of experience in life I have overcome all those complexes and now I am comfortable as what I am now. thanks for asking.

i dont like someone staring at me... i dont think its appropriate to stare at people... there was a time when i saw someone was staring at me... so what i did is i just walk as though i didnt see it

i get INCREDIBLY shy when people stare...but i also get angry. i don't like to be looked at by ayone...particularly strangers. i don't like to make eye contact with people i don't know. It REALLY make sme uncomfortable.

I do agree. I think everybody is born to shy. For me, yes I'm really embarrased if someone stare at me. I feel like I'm melting. But I usually gather myself and ignore it just to hide my embarrasment. If someone look at me, I turn my back so that I couldn't see him/ her look at me.:))

when someone stares at me like a stranger or even someone i know, i feel uncomfortable and shy at the same time. Because i dont know why they are staring at me, sometimes i am thibnking that maybe they i look funny to them, or something is wrong with my attire at etc. And if someones stares at me i just look the other way, i dont know, it just that i dont like it. I myself want to overcome this shyness, i am still looking for some techniques or ways to do it.

I think it's definitely human to get awkward when your stared and AND to assume the worst. I used to be painfully shy but I'm starting to get much more confident (it just comes from life experience really) so people staring doesn't really bother me so much anymore.

It depends on how they stare at me. If it's kinda malicious or irritating, I would stare back at them! But if it's just a non-commital stare or just so happened that they glance your way offhandedly, then it's no problem to me.=) I am not that confident, In fact I was kinda shy when I was young. But as time goes by, I've learned a lot. I made ammends with myself and others, the fact that I can't please evrybody but still there are those YOU CAN. Just try to relax sometimes and count your blessings! Have a little faith in what you can do and how to do it and never mind those who put you down. It will only dampen your spirits and won't make you a better person. We all have some things to hide, have secrets and all, but whatever that is, if we do value ourselves and love ourselves, we can face ANYBODY with a smile.=)

Definantly, thats exactly how I feel. I dont really have any tips, I just usually try to ignore it or turn the other way...lol.
