 celebrities are usually seen on screen. We can't see them in real. We can see them really in live concerts and in competitions( sportsmen).
I have seen some famous cricketers like Sachin tendulkar, Jacques kallis, Rahul dravid, Daryll cullinan etc when they hade come to Bangalore for a match in 2000.
I have also shaken hands with Vijay bharadwaj, a former cricket player. I met him in a restuarant, some years back.

i've seen Earl Thomas Conley and got to shake his hand for real,
and than i have met Wade Hayes and got to shake his hand and got his autograph back than.those are the only two though but it was neat that
i got to shake the hand of Earl Thomas Conley.

I sat in the restaurant at the next table from a television news anchor, I was once on a tv show as a kid, and got to shake hands with the celebrity hosting it, and I actually got to see our prime minister walking out of his house.

My proudest celebrity meeting is Wolfman Jack. Years ago when the Tower of Terror first opened up at MGM Studios, they were doing TV spots and promotions that he was there for. My dad and I talked to him for about a half hour, then went off to find my mom. He passed away just a few months later. Dad and I kick ourseles to this day about not thinking to ask for an autograph.
