What if Kurt wouldn't have killed himself?

Maybe Nirvana wouldn't have been as popular or appreciated, I mean there's people out there who can't tell you one Nirvana song yet they've heard of the band and Kurt. Thought that's natural with people that pass, one sort of remembers the artist more after they've died for some reason.. which is sorta ironic. There's also the "don't know what you have 'til it's gone" thing, where people appreciate something more once it's not there.

I don't know if the band would've kept up the same quality, almost every band put out crap records at least once. But it definitely would be interesting to know what would've happened.. for sure the Foo Fighters wouldn't exist! I guess we'll never know.

No, I don't think he would have gone away! He was way to good, I think his death was really a great loss to the music community

nirvana reached their highest success AFTER kurt died... and i'm sure that if he hadn't they wouldn't have become so famous... sacrifice for art, you may say... i say just... confusion caused by drugs.

I liked Nirvana better before the suicide. i just went off them for so long.

That "wither away" stuff is just depressive paranoia. People are sick if they listen to Nirvana more because he died like that. Even if they are "more" successful now they were plenty successful then.

They could have saved that money, had some fun. Maybe evolved as a band or done something else after the magic went. But plenty of bands last and last.

But taking drugs makes you negative. It's not about "sacrifice" it's about coming down after taking stuff. Not very glamorous really
