Please Explain "Exclusively Dating" to Me  | |  What does "exclusively dating" mean? How different is it from boyfriend/ girlfriend?
I ask because my younger sister (28) is exclusively dating someone. She already turned him down 6 months ago but he persisted and now they are "exclusively dating". The thing is we know that she is worried about her biological clock so we suspect that she is just keeping him as "back up". But she refuses to be introduced to other guys and says she will get angry at him if he dates other girls. But if you ask if they have a commitment, she will say "none". They smack (at least that's what we saw), hold hands, etc. So what is keeping them from going to the boyfriend/ girlfriend stage?

But they are just not ready yet to commit because they are not yet certain if they really are perfect for each other. they don't want pressure so they're just taking it easy. once the time comes for them to have to confront their situation, its only then will they be able to decide if they will go to the next level, or if they will part ways. Its like a testing stage.
