my allergies are acting up again on me!  | |  dang these darn allergies!when will they ever go away???!!!!
i've got bad allergy problems see,and everytime that i step outside my nose starts running,my eyes gets watery,and than i start sneezing my head off!i've spent tha last dime that i had to get me some more pills,and the dang pills aren't working neither!sheez!i hate actually hate the summertime!it's still fun though going to the park,hot weather,but geez,these stupid allergies!sorry for me rambling like this,i had to get this off my chest!

I've lived in different parts of the countries, and I know when I was living in the Chicago area it was probably the worst. I remember just driving by someone cutting their grass-I'd end up in a sneezing fit for quite a few minutes. They're not as bad as they were then, but they're still bad-same thing, sneezing-badly, itchy eyes, runny/stuffy nose. I used to take Allegra(prescription) and that worked well for me when I lived in Florida, but it's not cutting it for me anymore. Claritin sucks, and it's just too darn expensive. I'm using just generic over the counter stuff now, but they don't work that great, and only last a few hours. Plus I hate the side effects of them, either real sleepy or wired up. If you have insurance, talk to your doctor. There's alot of newer prescriptions out there that may work. I also remember going in and getting allergy shots for a while. That worked great for me, but it only lasted for about 3 weeks before you'd need another one. Good luck and hope you feel better.

 ANGEL114 (1029) | 1 year ago | thank you so much for the advice and the tips on my allergies.and also for understanding me as well.i have never had this problem before and dont understand why now?but i guess it is something in the air that messes with me.i've thought about using Claritin and i know that they are high as ever!god at the price!i went to Food City tonight to check and see and god,like for a small bottle was nearly $10.and i'm like,"Forget that"!ya know?so i got the generic brand,like Food City's name brand which was heck of alot cheaper.and it doesn't help me neither.so i am going to check that out come Monday b/c i would like to do it sooner,but have got so much things planned this week,that it'll be better to see the doc on Monday morning.

Something else I forgot to mention, I've never tried this, but I remember reading somewhere that if you eat a little bit of honey from "local bees" everyday, it's supposed to help with allergies. The bees will get their pollen from the local plants and flowers in your area to make their honey. I don't remember how or why it's supposed to help, something with the bacteria the bees make, and the pollen, it just helps....try doing a search online about that, probably get better info lol:)
