I think it really depends on if the house is new or if you are buying it from others living in the home, there would be more paper work. I think it should only take a few weeks.

I am a real estate agent, and have seen some ( all cash) close in weeks, and other depending on the changes in a contract, take as long as 6 months. Most average around three.
