Darts, Anyone?  |

 One of my favorite activity is playing darts with my friends, because it's a good pass time.
To play it, one needs accuracy and precision. The player needs to be exact to hit the target, but aiming it is not that easy. It needs proper concentration, as others say, a "follow-through" when aiming the target. It really provides good excercise for us, on our shoulders and arms. And sometimes, I get muscle cramps from playing it all-day long!;)
I enjoyed this game, as we can play it indoors and even outdoors. I actually knew some of the greatest dart players back then, but now I can only recall the name of Eric Bristow. I believe he became famous during the 90's, he even had a dart board named after him. I think most of our friends here from the UK do remember him, I hope so!;)
Anyone play darts here, what type of game you play with it?
Also, do you know others who became famous with this type of sport?

1.  maddysmommy (10348) | 1 year ago |  I played darts casually in a bar I use to work at years and years and years ago LOL It was fun but I wasn't really any good at it. They often held weekend tournaments and because I was working, I often got to see many play, some very competitive!
We have one of those small magnet ones here at home which my son and I play from time to time.

 maryannemax (10498) | 1 year ago |  yup. there are lots of restaurants here in the philippines, too which have dart playing places. it's mostly for free but there are restaurants which don't offer it for free. but it is sure fun for people especially when hanging out with friends and chatting at the same time.
and i used to have those magnetic dart toys, too. it's fun to practice on it!

| 2. maryannemax (10498) | 1 year ago | i am not much of a sports fan. hehe. but i did play darts before when i was a kid with my brother and some friends. i don't really play with rules. all i know was i just need to throw the darts in that circular thing with numbers on it. the neared the dart strucks at the center of it, the best score i get. i never won any game with them. but it was sure fun!... anne | |

Luckily, friends thought me to play it. I never thought that I'd loved it right from the start, but it's also addicting once you learn how to play it.. | |

| 3. whyaskq (4276) | 1 year ago |  I do not play darts as I do not have a dart board at home. Only a kiddie one which my nephews play. I throw darts when I am frustrated or angry with someone. I will just visualise the bull eye is the nose of that person and will try to hit the nose or the cheek. lol.

4. yspeak2209 (40)  | 1 year ago |  Darts, is also one of my favorite hobby and also with oil paintings..Actually im a dart player in our team (womens division) in our office..so i do understand the rulings of this game...but the game that i actually played and enjoy is the "killers"..and really i got to have several practice to master the bullseye..and its true that u have to have a good pulse to have accuracy and precision and practice i suggest....
