Why did your First Love fail

my first love failed because of my temper.. i always argue with my guy.. i dont consider us as over.. im still waiting for second chance..:(

My first love failed when I was only 12 years old. I was too young and we were both from different countries and that's why it didn't succeed. I couldn't even tell my parents about it, let alone ask them for the plane fare to visit here in America! LOL

To this day, I still do not know why my first love failed. We are still friends but she is happily married to someone else and has a child. I remember proposing to her and being turned down because she was not ready to get married and then a couple months later she became engaged to someone else. She did not give a reason for not wanting to be with me.

Well my first experience failed coz we both were't mature enough 2 handle it, besides she wanted 2 get married soon and I did not have a job during that time, I wanted 2 wait till i become capable if earning my own money. Problems progressed then it all fell apart.

I think really that I didn't know what loving a person felt like early on. I was flattered to be taken notice of and that is what helped me to choose who to date. That isn't a very good foundation for a relationship as I quickly discovered.
There has to be more than mutual admiration.
You have to connect intellectually too and be able to see past a persons faults.

yes.. it failed.. it didnt work out for me and for him and for my family.. my family thinks he's really young for me.. and when i told him that, it was him who started not talking to me.. as if i never comes in his life ever.. well obviously, he dont love me... he cant even fight for it.. and its over now, but we are good friends..

For me "true love can't fail". When they say its first love, some really do not know what love is, it was actually infatuation. So most likely what they think was first love failed.

My first love did not succeed because I found another one! I can still remember that I just fell out of love with my bf for several years, and I can't explain why...it just happened...so, I had my second bf (True Love), but had not yet broke up with my first...it was a dilemma, I did not know what to do. To cut the story short, I got married without me breaking up with the first true love...it must have been painful, I was told by friends, but what the heck...my second true love is now my husband for 26 years!

Oh Hermie thats long ago. I met the man of my dreams when I was 20 or 21 and studied in another city. We met in a dancing school one Sunday evening.
I was to go back to my moms the next day and stay there for six weeks and was wondering whether he would really be waiting for me when I come back.
He did and when we were together for 4 months he asked me to marry him. I happily said yes but didnt put his parents, mainly his mother into consideration.
His mother was a very dominant person who thought immediately when meeting me that I am not good enough for her son. I was a bit overweight and not clothed in the latest fashion and that made things a bit tricky.
She never accepted me as his girlfriend and shuddered at the thought of me one day being his wife. She tried everything she could to keep him from meeting me on weekends.
As he was studying, too, and only had one or two terms before him then she told him either this girl or our financial help for your last year of studying.
Needless to say this awful woman succeeded and he broke up with me then according to her wishes.

My first love was just about infatuation and experimentation. I think first love fails because it is the first. We still lack experience and wisdom in dealing with another person romantically.
