The Discussion That will not Go Away!

To be honest, I am not in love with him anymore but I am dealing with the situation the best I can. He also knows I am going to leave the house now and then and do my own thing. and he is going to let me be. He knows I will leave, I did it once so know he knows I am capable of doing it again.

Regarding the people that said I deserved it. There were quite a few and many kept saying stuff about me being a drunk. ok, yes I drank to much one time! that does not make me a drunk! Why do people not understand that?

Sweetie I don't know who these People where but I hope they read what I put here I do not drink I hate it but there are reasons for that, I will never judge anyone for having a drink my Kids have a drink (they are Adults) so what everyone is entitled to have a drink, these People that have called you that are a waste of Space, don't know what they are talking about, have Skeletons in their Cupboards but think they are Perfect and are to quick in judging People. You are much better then them, you are you and not pretending to be someone you are not they do Pretend to be someone special well they are not, they are nasty

Nobody deserves to be hit by their spouse or anyone. Even if you were drunk, that is no reason to hit you. Even if you started it with him and he finished it by slugging you, I do not condone that. Everyone who drinks is not a drunk, but everyone who is drunk drinks... LoL... I think maybe if you don't answer the other post it will eventually die. No matter how much you want the last word, just let it die and I think it will. When they see no attention being paid to it, they will let it alone... it may take some time.

As long as your children were safe and happy at home and you weren't out cheating on your husband then I think you're perfectly allowed to go out and get rolling drunk, come home and vomit in the front garden before banging on the door for your husband to let you in. As long as it's not every weekend of course:-)

You both are funny! I am a pucker if I mix my drinks!:) But I never do that in front of my kids.

Don't worry about those people! They don't know what they are talking about truthfully! No one deserves to be hit regardless of the situation. I am glad that you are making things work, but if your not in love with him, I am worried you are wasting your happiness, is it something you can build upon again? Sometimes it happens. lol, yes you should not go back!

My wife used to hit me all the time, and when she did it would hurt her hand and I always got charged with wife abuse. So to solved that problem, for her birthday I bought her a baseball bat,now everything is fine.

I agree and I think I have a chance right now to make a huge change.

I almost wrote this too, Polly, remembering that being one of her discussions. I think we all would have at least one discussion we would like to just wipe off the site.

See, I thought they took down really old ones but it does not seem like they do that one is at least 7 months old probably closer to eight.

its not even the fact it keeps popping up. Its the things people write I had one person say well I can tell you were really drunk so you probably deserved it! How the heck did they know I was really drunk!

Ok, how do I retire it? I did not know that was an option.

I'm not sure how to do it exactly. I just tried to figure it out, but couldn't, so I can p/m mylot and ask them how to di it if you want me to or you can do it yourself and let me know. In the panel on the left hand side of the screen under the discussions tab the last option on the list is for "my unresolved discussions" and I remember that before they revamped the site we could resolve long standing discussions that we no longer wish to receive responses for. Let me know what you want to do.:o)

I know that some go there but it seems they can still be commented on. But I am not sure how the get resolved I think its probably when they get rated and a best responce is selected but I will ask them.
