1. funny52f (5150) | 1 year ago | Very often I do look at the expiry date and wouldn't buy nor eat anything past its expiration. That is what the date is there for. It should warn us of the dangers of possible food poisoning if you eat it. A vendor here killed many young grade schoolers who bought and ate the old bread with peanut butter she sold. We can't take chances.

2. diillu (4037) | 1 year ago | I'm really concerned about the expiry date of the foods and especially medicine. My mom too had this habit and I learnt this from her. I look expiry date before I buy anything and I keep it until it is valid. After that I totally throw them away. I don't eat anything that is anything past the expiry date.

3. monicazhang (529) | 1 year ago | I would not eat anything past the expiry date and I would not even think about it.Everytime I go shopping in a supermarket,I always look through their expire date. Its a necessary step for buying food. There is a good saying 'you are what you eat',if you eat something unhealthy, then you would pay for it oneday.Thats something I dont want to see.

4. webeishere (11558) | 1 year ago | My wife and I shop at stores that sell outdated foods. But it's all bakery goods mostly. The thing is the dates are just a use for when to take them off the shelves. Most items are to be removed from the shelves a week before that date. So when we buy them they are still good a few days. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

5. liranlgo (2874) | 1 year ago | Well i do not eat anything if the date on that product is expired. I know that i do have a very sensetive stomach, and if i eat somthing with an expired date, i probably would throw up after a few minutes.

6. Noot54 (4433) | 1 year ago | I think it's a question of common sense. What I object to is the practice with some supermarkets where if there's is an official holiday like Christmas they seem to be able to mysteriously extend the normal shelf life of products like cabbages or loaves. Why is that? Why can't the sehlf life be that long normally? Who's kidding who?

7. cefaz_21 (2090) | 1 year ago | definitely NO, I wouldn't buy goods near expiry date too. It's not healthy and very risky. Some say that those are still good after at least a week over expiry date, but I don't want to take risk..specially our health.
