Did you wear school uniforms in your school?

Hello kababayan! I too wore uniform in elementary and highschool. It was a mocha brown long sleeved dress with red ribbon and pipings. We also had to wear a different uniform on wednesdays and mass days.
In college, there was no uniform no id or no gates in my school. I had a classmate who didn't even wear shoes to class on mondays, and no one cares what people wear.

I wore a school uniform at the private Glasgow (Scotland) High School for Girls from when I was four and a half until 17 years old. It was a navy blue, skirt, light blue blouse with a navy blue, light blue and silver stripped tie, a navy blue blazer with the school badge on the pocket in the summer and a nap coat in the winter, black shoes and long stockings, a hat or a beret. For years after I left school I never wore navy blue as I was sick of it.

Im in a catholic highschool and we wear uniforms. But the unoforms we have arent that bad. As for shirts, we had red white and navy blue golf shirts that have the schools name on it, along with blouses and vests if we choose, and for pants we have beige and navy blue pants, beige or navy blue shorts, and if wed like, navy blue skort, OR red and blue plaid skort. Theres actually alot to choose from, and the pricings not so bad, but as for quality, unfortunately they dont last too long.

I never did but when i taught my 6 years in a private Catholic High School called Michael Power in Toronto we had the uniform requirement in order I liked it and i am convinced it meant more harmony and better performance ..the first 4 years it was boys only but my final 2 years it became co-ed and the girls from St Joseph began finding a place in the classroom I will not say much but their uniforms were much cutier then the boys...My 2 granddaughters attended Father Redmond and wore uniforms and my daughter (their mother ) loved it and it saved so many arguements every morning she was eternally grateful I Vote for Uniforms but i think now I am in the minority but years ago the parents were overwhelming in favourite of students being in uniform ... Yes back in the good old school days, we did wear uniforms, and I didnt really like to wear them, but did, although it kept us all looking like we were from the same school or group on field trips... Females wore: Royal blue skirts, not above the knee, which my sister and I didnt like, and got our mom to raise ours and make them straight instead of the schools A-frame style lol, we wore white blouse, woolly navy blue v-neck jumpers and black sandals, or white socks and black leather nomads, which we didnt like and would wear our tan coloured nomads or runners with no socks instead lol... Males wore: Grey shorts, greys button up shirts, wolly navy blue v-neck jumpers and grey socks with black nomads or leather sandals... Now we have children, and the school does not have a uniform... Being a mom, I think these uniforms would look very smart indeed... It would also cut down washing days...

i used to wear my uniform in my elementary, high school and college days.. in my elementary an dhigh school days, i wear same kind of uniform coz i was in the same school from my pre elementary to high school.. my uniform then was navy blue in color, white blouse, navy collar, with a navy blue ribbon at the center, white socks and black shoes.. when i was in college. my uniform then was cream blouse, black slacks and black shoes.. slacks because i took engineering course.. we have different uniforms in every course..

Here in sweden i do not think that there are any schools at all that have school uniform, although it is discussed very often.
I do not really understand why people should be forced to wear the same clothes and I am happy that there are not a requitement here=)

I used uniforms in both. I used it in school and in highschool. Was obligatory.

It is a requirement in schools so I really have to go to school in uniform. That was in high school. When I was in college I still need to wear our school uniform because it is still a requirement. I only wear casual clothes during some other activities in school wherein we are not required to wear our uniform. But I really enjoyed my studies those days during school.

No, we just wore regular clothes when I went to school. We were always forced to wear dresses or skirts and blouses until my senior year and the dress code changed. Our skirts had to hit the floor when we stood on our knees.
