Was your best friend your worst enemy?

Hi petitehye! I have had more excperiences than a little bit with fake back stabbing Girls. A Guy has always had something to do with my friendships ending. My Dad always said your friends are your worst enemies they know too much about you.

I think as we get older, friendships come and go. I have a handful of people that I hold dear to me. I don't have one in particular that is the most cherished.

When it comes to men and women and the attractions, yes this can and often does interfer with friendships. When this happens it really points out how close that person was to you or maybe they weren't.

I don't consider a person a friend if they use you get around men. I don't consider a person a friend if they are resentful and vindictive. I don't consider a person a friend if are two faced behind my back.

No, she probably never will say she is sorry. You were looking at her as your best friend and she was resentful of you because of the way these boys were reacting around her. Maybe she felt that she was walking in your shadow. That's a hard place for a girl that just wants to be noticed.

It hurts when someone close to you does this, but on the same hand, I feel sorry for her because she sacrificed your friendship over her own insecurities.

Hello petitehye! I have had a similar experience. A few years ago i was living alone and had a friend who had nowhere to live so i offered for her to come and live with me. we became very close and i thought of her like my sister. I got a boyfriend and was really pleased when they got along really well, until one day i went home and found them in my bed together!!! i was devastated i told them both to leave and not come back, but i didn't lose my temper or scream and shout, i always thought that was good, and that i behaved like a lady even if she did not! I was more upset about her betrayal than his! It is sad when men come between women who are very close friends but i guess sometimes that's just the way the cookie crumbles, i've not got lots of friends who i can trust and who i know would never treat me this way! you need to trust some people in life - but be careful about who! - otherwise you could end up lonely and i'm sure you are far too lovely to let that happen to you!!! keep smiling! xxx

hI petitehye! yeah i've had a few similar experiences. about 4 years ago when i was going to secondary school i was friends with this girl that was in the other p7 class at primary since we knew each other we always went around together. That was until she started bitching to one of my friends about me because i was more of a sporty person who didnt go shopping EVERY weekend. My friend told me and i confronted her. since then its been like a competition between us she always tries to get one better on us. She also made me lose a few friends too. I don't have a best friend now just a big group of friends x

I have a best friend but he moved a while ago so now I have a new best friend and he's Asain. Sometimes he could get me angry but he'll never be my worst enemy. We will always be great friends no matter what.

I do have a real best friend,and I don't think that some day he will be my worst enemy!!
We understand each other,and each of us does his best to help and share every thing in his own life with the other, so it will be,may be impossible to think,that we will change to enemies .
Any way, generally best friends rarly become worst enemies.
