Do you think posting fliers is a good way of advertising something? |

Do you think if you posted fliers all over in big cities like newyork with links or just a buisness you want known, do you think they help that much or do you believe it's a waste of time?

It can also work well for small, community based organizations that are looking for local customers, or a small self-owne enterprise - like house painting, lawn mowing, dog walking, etc. I think it's very low-scale for a larger corporation, who has the money for a real advertising campaign. But I see nothing wrong with it for smaller, community based organizations - since it is local and very cost effective.

Especially for tourist and strangers in a place...I have tried this before with my colleague and by the phone calls we are receiving, we will be asking them how they got the information and if by posters, in which area they found it!

5. mscott (1186) | 3 months ago | I guess it depends on what you are advertising and where you are going to put it. if you are looking for a lost dog, yes and anywhere is good. if you are trying to sell shampoo, there probably isn't any good places to put it. making these can also get a little pricey if you really want to do them right. having the right placement spot for what you are selling is key. Colleges often have boards designed for various things like jobs and events. Some grocery stores also allow you to post fliers but often times they have to be approved.
