do like extra coaching for studies???

hello pavi., i am also in college. extra coaching or "tutoring," - a more familiar term in our country, is very popular.
when i was still in elementary and highschool, i would always get a tutor. not because i can't study on my own. just for the purpose of making sure that i am really studying.
but it was quite weird then, that i spend all my time in tutor talking to other students. we try to study but i've never really been great with group study. what happened is, i stopped attending tutorial classes. and guess what? i made it in the honor roll. lol.
i never enrolled in any tutorial services after that.

Extra coaching is something i did for school but i will never do that for college. I think for college, we are just matured enough to study things and understand them ourselves rather than taking extra coaching. And i believe that extra coaching is only waste of time because its just the same thing as whatever we are taught in the college and hence there will be no time for self study. I always recommend my friends not to do such things as it will not give them time to do study by themselves in their own way.

Some are really intelligent with good memory power and common sense. Some have more grasping power than others. If one studies well at school/college, one does not require extra coaching. But in India, most parents are worried about their children's performance and do not take chance particularly in SSLC, PUC and in Degree courses. So they ask the children to take extra coaching by paying huge sums of money. In many cases it pays rich rewards in terms of children securing distinction. I never went for tuition during my school or college days. But then portions I covered is much much smaller and lower grade than what present day students are facing.

I think student should make study first.We are inthe time to learn more knowlege.College give me good chance,why not do it well?

I think I can study by meself. There is no need for me to have an extra coaching for studies. In my country, it is common to have extra coaching before college studies. After being a college student, few people have extra coaching.
