I try to eat fish at least once a week but sometimes don't. I take a herb called omega 3 which is fish oil. Fish benefits your brain and heart, along with your general health. Most people don't eat enough so should be taking a supplement. Enough would be to eat fish once a day.

My favourite fish is pickerel. We go fishing here in Canada and catch our own. Then freeze them for the winter. If we don't catch enough we buy them at the fish store. Pickerel fillets sell for about $7.00 a pound, which is very expensive. It doesn't take much to make a pound.

I have been eating fish since childhood. It's my alternate dish when I don't like to eat meat. I eat fried fish, grilled or steamed. I sometimes mix fish with veggies. My favorites include tuna, tilapia, big eyed scad (matambaca), salmon, catfish and many more.

Fish are nutritious and good to eat. When properly prepared, fish provide numerous health benefits, especially for the heart. The American Heart Association recommends eating two to three fish meals each week. The benefits of eating fish include:

1. Fish offer high-quality protein with fewer calories than a similar-sized portion of meat. For example, both catfish and ground beef are about 18% protein. But, for an 8-ounce meal, the catfish will have only about 232 calories, while the regular ground beef will have about 640 calories.

2. Fish are low in sodium and are good sources of potassium, vitamins, and other minerals.

3. Fish are generally low in cholesterol and saturated fats, which have been associated with high blood pressure and heart disease.

4. While the benefits of fish on nutrition are still being studied, much of the current research is focused on various kinds of beneficial fats in fish, particularly a kind called omega-3 fatty acids which are in some fish and fish oils. Some studies have indicated that these fatty acids have favorable effects on health conditions such as hardening of the arteries, high levels of cholesterol and high blood pressure.

I don't know what it is. But i can't stand eating seafood namely fish. It just has the seas flavor that makes me gag.The only thing that comes close is shrimp, no the shrimp that has a fishy flavor though. Don't get me wrong I have tried hard to try and eat it everytime I have ended up throwing it back up. SOrry if i made anyone sick:0)

I think eating more fish can solve many witamin deficiency problems in us.We have to take more fish items,along with vegetables and meat.My favourite fish is prawn and shark.I like dried fish also.If we make pickeles with fishes,it is very tasty to eat with rice and other food items.
