What type of music do you listen to.

I love all kinds of music like country, pop, rock, alternative, some oldies stuff. I'm not a big fan of rap though, but I think there is a big misconception about what's sung about, just like in the country genre.:)

I love Youtube, I can find some of the recordings from the fifties and sixties and some of the artists that are now dead, that I used to listen to, but never saw.

I like classical, country, and the old rock and roll as well as stuff from the sixties to the eighties. I have no idea who the artists of today are. I also like some of the songs from the fifties and from the 1940s what I heard in the old movies.

I like the old Hymns. I am not much into dancing, but I do like doing a few steps when no one is looking.

I have not heard much from the 90s, I got into more of opera and I always liked sacred music and classical, but mostly from the classical and romantic era. I love the pop songs from the fifties to the eighties, but the eighties are the best.

My favorite Elvis songs are Suspicious Minds and I Can't Help Falling in Love with You. I saw the Buddy Holly Story and was wondering whether Gary Busey sung the words himself or mouthed them. I know that in "Coalmaster's Daughter' that Sissy Spacek did her own singing.

I also asked my husbands oppinion and he agrees that Gary Busey sounded too much like Buddy Holly, therefore we think he was just mouthing the words.

I looked it up on the web, and Gary Busey did his own singing.

I never knew that. Usually when they do a movie about a singer, the one playing the part cannot really sing that good so they dub the music over her or his voice. Like in My Fair Lady, I did not know that Audrey Hepburn was not singing the role of Eliza. That was a surprise for me as well.

I like when the singer can sing and there has to be a melody. So I do not like rap. To me it sounds like they are shouting and getting mad at the listeners.

I like 80s music, most kinds unless it is boring, which it hardly is. The 80s was a good year. Mind you I love classical the best, but the 80s singers could really sing. And of country, I love George Strait and Randy Travis plus the the ones that were in the eras before like Kenny Rodgers,etc. I also love Christmas songs that ones sung by Bing Crosby, Gene Autry, and my favorite comic ones The Grinch and Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer.

As well as classical and opera, I am an 80s fan. If it were not for it being illegal, if there were any 80s music on the net, I would probably download it, well probably not-

My favorite musical is My Fair Lady. I have no idea why.

I actually like most musicals. My former roommate hated musicals because she was of the opinion that people don't just break into song. Spoil sport....

Well my mom was a great musical fan, but me I was a bit more critical. Some musicals were quite good, but others they did quite pull it off. But My Fair Lady with all those fancy costumes, etc. Oh and I also liked Grease and Grease 2. I grew up in that era.

I have to go to Shoutcast now and find the music I like, but some Shoutcasts make it hard to record their music.
