Something good finally happened for my sister in law!  |

 It has nothing to do with the loss of the babies or the suit against the hospital, but I think it's pretty awesome just the same. Her boyfriend of a couple of years proposed to her and she accepted! I am soooooo excited for her. It was so nice to see a great big genuine smile on her face instead of one that she was forcing herself to paste on through her grief.
She told us how she was proposed to, and I almost broke out in tears. Definitely an "awwwwww" moment for sure. What happened was, her boyfriend had her open this one present that contained a really nice candle in it (he had given her flowers first). In the candle was a little slip of paper. She opened it up and the paper read "Now look at me". So she looked at her bf, and he was down on one knee in front of her, hands shaking, holding the box with the ring out in front of him. He then said "Joy Lynnann, will you marry me?" Of course, she had to manage to pull her jaw up off the floor before she could say anything. And of course, she accepted! I guess her daughter knew about it for a month, and was actually able to keep her mouth shut about it, although it was killing her to do so. ROFL! I will let you all know when the big day is, and of course then I will have lots of pictures to share. I am so happy for my sister in law. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers for her and the family. They are most definitely working! Hugs to everyone!

Her boyfriend of 3 years handed her a box to open and her daughter and his daughter were both there and they said, "Its a ring, it's a ring." They knew it by the size of the box. She opened it up and he asked her and she said yes. I hope this one lasts because her last marriage only lasted for about 6 years so I hope he makes her happier than her ex did and I hope they stay married for a long time. Same goes with your sister-n-law, I hope their happiness lasts forever and no more grief comes to them. Give her my best wishes for the New Year and best wishes for you and your family too!:)

She was never married to the father of her daughter, and I don't think she ever lived with him either. So this is very new and exciting for her. Sure, she's lived with other boyfriends, but it always ended badly. This guy is a wonderful influence on her and he is very good for her and her daughter. I hope this lasts a long time for them too. Her b/f proposing to her, specially the way he did it, must of really helped her out of her depression. At least for a while anyways. That was so neat how he went about proposing to her. Not like my hubby did..pin me on the bed and say "I love you..will you marry me". lol How old is her daughter? I bet it killed her to have to keep such a juicy secret for so long. lol Glad to hear she had the proposal to brighten up her Christmas.

This really helped her to cheer up. Her daughter is 18 years old, and she had to work really hard to keep her mouth shut for a month and a half. LOL!
