Yes, of course. It is common to ANY religion the attempt to take control over peoples. It is far easier into ignorance and supernatural beliefs, because in those case no explaination is asked.
Religion is a control tool; call it Christianism, Islam, or whatever, that's only a matter of cultural difference. The basic principle is the same as opium.

Catholicism is based on lies and deceptions; there is no truth whatever to their Bible. The reason they managed to attain the power they did was because they murdered all opposition. The reason they could not be exposed for the fraud they are was at first because they burned all material which did not support them. Later on they could not be exposed because they would butcher those that spoke against hem.

Catholicism is on the way out for they can no longer kill people for being able to think and see the lies they perpetrate!

If you choose to believe in demons, you can suppose there are violent ones but also there are calm ones. Violent ones can be easily recognized in possessions, but calm ones could effectively play the role they want, taking control of important human beings, such as popes, emperors, and presidents... preachers and prophets and in such way they can make you (and the whole humanity) think whatever they want!

Did not Satan try to fool Christ while he was here on earth by coming to him as an angel of light. Yes, Satan will be so good at counterfeiting that he will impersonate Christ second return. He will even be able to heal and even bring about some peace and do other miracles. How will we be able to tell the difference. When Christ comes again the second time He will not touch the earth. The righteous will be raised up to Him in the air. AT least some of the mountains will be falling because of earthquakes.
Satan has written his own Bible. Did he inspire people to write the Holy Bible? He doesn't know all the future and why would he want to write of his demise. I am thinking he would inspire people to tell of a glorious period if he gained complete control of the world.

It began with one Church, it will end with one. Those other denominations would soon realize that they have strayed and will decide to be united with the One true Church. They have to believe everything that is said in the scriptures, they can't just take what they want to believe in and leave everything else aside.

It began with no churches and soon knowledge will replace the superstition and fear peddled by the churches. Once the lies are exposed and humanity matures no churches will peddle their lies and no people will be scared into adopting superstition and supernatural explanations.

As long as this earth last they say there is a sucker born every minute. Many people will be followers because it is easier, just like the sheep that will follow a goat leader to their dead. I just wish God would strike you down like he did Saul on the road to Damascus and turn you around and be a worker for Him. YOu so have the determination that He needs in His work.
