Your Favourite Cocktails  | |  I got a cocktail set for Christmas. It contains a cocktail shaker, glasses, cocktail salt and sugar, stirrers and umbrellas. I used to work in a bar so i know a few cocktail recipes but i would like some recommendations please!

| SukiSmiles (1414) | 11 months ago | My aunt had some Cosmos somewhere she traveled last year and made them for Thanksgiving, but they didn't come out at all. No one wanted to drink them. My poor dad had to drink mine and my sisters. She made at big pitcher of them and another person said it never works when you try to do it in bulk. I have also tried some sort of tropical blue one and a lemon drop but was not impressed, but I'm sure it was because of the brand. I had got a white elephant gift of premade cocktails - all different martini flavors in small bottles. Very cute, but now I'm scared to try the other two since the first two didn't have much flavor. | |

raspberry vodka (or any flavored vodka) with lemonade
malibu is good with any juices or coke if you don't want something so sweet
kahlua and cream is good in the winter
I would stay away from whiskey's, scotch, cognac's, and probably wine also. if all else fails, go to different places in your area where alcohol is on special and just try things. that way you don't waste a lot of money if you don't like it. it should only take a few weeks and you will find a drink. | |
