I'm going to St.Louis, Missouri!  |

 Well, I have been invited to a wedding and I'm very excited to go to Missouri. This will be my first time and I'm looking forward to a great weekend. Has anybody been in Missouri? Can you tell me something in regards to what types of attractions do they have? Do they have big malls?
We are driving from Kentucky to Missouri and it should take about 5 hours and 15 minutes to arrive there. I'm praying for good weather,so wish me luck.

ArsonCuff (2687) | 6 months ago |  Well I lived in Missouri most of my life and overall Saint Louis as a city has gone down hill; was it 2006 or 2007 it won the distinction of most Dangerous City in the USA? East Saint Louis kind of spilled over into downtown St. Louis, businesses closed and gang activity flourished. Lots of road construction all the time too from what I recall. Ugh
Moved to Cali a year and a half ago.

The downtown area looks beautiful and calm and the people were very nice. I didn't see any gang activity and everything looks very clean. Maybe my friends live in a nice and safe area. | |

We stopped in a town on the way to Missouri, and again on the way home, so that the drive from North Carolina wouldn't be so hard on the baby. We enjoyed the fact that Kentucky had White Castles! And We're thinking of looking at Louisville as our next possible home.
I hope you enjoyed St Louis. Did you go to the Arch? Union Station?

| Mirita (1186) | 6 months ago | Yes, we went to Union Station and my sons took the ride that is inside the Arch. I loved Union Station and we had a great time with friends. People were very nice and I felt at home. Well, moving to Louisville might be a great idea if your husband can get a good job there because is very nice and affordable compare to other big cities. I live in a small town by the name of Magnolia,so I'm 45 miles away from Louisville,but I'm planning to buy a condo in Louisville in the near future since my kids wish to attend University of Louisville,and most of the jobs are always in the city. You can still buy a nice condo there for less than other places. Just let me know if you decide to move to Louisville. | |
