Do You Study Or Wonder About Your Family History?

Yeah I find this very interesting. My Dad has traced back our family history using many sources. He has found a connection to Lee's of Virginia. The Lee's, as in General Robert E. Lee of the Confederate Army during the American Civil War. When something like that is finally uncovered after alot of research, it is very rewarding.

Being adopted I at one time wondered about my family history as I cant give answers to questions a lot of times, however I have to say that I have never been over intersted in either figuring out the history of the people that adopted me, or the history of my biological family, my brother, natural, who was adopted into a different family is very into family history and for me, I think its best that I let sleeping dogs lie....so to speak.

I do find other peoples family history fascinating, especially true history....

One Book I read was a very very good read about family history called A Fatal Passion, The story of the last Uncrowned Empress of Russia, one of the best history books I read.

I find other people's family histories so much more fascinating than my own.
