In my case he was going through a really though time with his family and never let me go until months after. All i did was keep myself open to him and eventually he came through. While i cant say forsure what may be going on in this situation all the adive i can give u is keep yourself open.

Maybe he needs time to get over whatever is affecting your friendship. When he is ready to talk to you about it I'm sure he will contact you.
