I would usually hide behind the sofa or in the closet in the clothes bala dear friend.
Now I hide at ease, for I can be invisible at will to others when I do not want to be bothered LOL

Beleive it or not I didnt play hide and seek as a child
My kids play it all the time though
Some of their favorite hiding places are:
in between the computer armoire and the entertainment center
under the end tables in the living room
in my closet
in my walk in shower
in the bath tub behing the shower curtain.
in the utility room between the dryer and the wall

I havent played hide and seek in about 5 months. But the last time I played I hid between my nightstand and the wall. I also favoured between the stove and the counter, and between the fridge and stove.

I have also hidden in cupboards, in the bathtub, in the closet of course, under the bed.

One time, I slid myself into the inside of the back of a fold out couch. There is really quite a bit of room between the mattress and where peoples backs rest. The only problem is that when someone does lean back on it, you really feel it.

Oh, i have also hidden in the clothes dryer.

There are some benefits to being a miniature adult! hee!

I used to like to hide under the bed or in the closet. Those were my favorite places to hide. I also used to love to hide in the dryer and the cabinets LOL.

myLot reputation of 93/100. stephcjh (10659)   ranked 51 out of 24,033 in life  5 months ago

Yes. It is so but they would always find me quick. I didn't get to hide for long.

Oh definitely under the stairs! I had the advantage because when I used to play with my cousins they would never go under there because they were frightened of spiders and the dark! It was obvious I was in there but once they finally opened the door to the cupboard I would shout boo! They hated it, so I won, mind you I used to be left in there too long and in the end I got bored and came out, I guess they figured that too, wasn't much fun being in the cupboard on my own!

We live in an old farm house that still has the door on the ajoining rooms, we did take a few of them off, but my favorite hiding place would be running into a room and hiding behind the door. Then I can jump out and scare the person looking for me! heehee

myLot reputation of 91/100. balasri (5776)   ranked 1,624 out of 24,033 in life  5 months ago

I always go behind the door, climb on it and stand.Whoever comes behind the door don't always look up their eye level usually.I used to be successful .Of course with different kids.

I usually played hide and seek outside, bala. I can't really remember playing hide and seek in the house. My favorite outdoor hiding place was on the edge of the creekbed, buried in the mud and with leaves on me. No one ever looked there! I once stayed hidden so long I fell asleep and once I hid in just such a place and was hidden so long that when the MP's came they called out to me to stop hiding. Which, of course, I did. I was terrified!

myLot reputation of 96/100. Transdisc (12106)   ranked 401 out of 24,033 in life  5 months ago

Yes, I still love to play hide and seek, bala. I still play outside, with my children, and usually in the dark. I will wear dark clothes and I prefer to hide at the edge of the forest, at the base of the trees or in the trees. If it's warm out, I will get into the pool and hide at the edge of the pool.

We used to hide in tree's and between the rows of plants in my dad's garden.
It was good hiding near the plants, because we used to pick the peas and eat them.
