1.  stephcjh (13563) | 8 months ago |  I got my high school diploma even though I moved away from my home about one week before graduating. I never missed a day of school most years and I tried very hard to make good grades. I moved out and still made good grades, never missed school and graduated.

I am one of those who seem to feel the need to keep on studying and update myself. Soon I would be joining the open university wherein I could continue taking up my master's degree.(hopefully!)

| 4. girlgonefishing (1219) | 8 months ago |  I didn't drop out of high school. I got kicked out because I was pregnant. After my son was born, I had no desire, nor did I have the money for daycare so I got my GED. When my son turned 13, I started college and got my 4 year degree.

| 5. kimlot (4322) | 8 months ago |  I made it almost throught the 10th grade and dropped out early due to being in fostercare and being moved around alot. I tried to get my Ged and never did but despite this I held down a job for over 12 years as an admin secretary and then worked over 5 years for the Oregon State Police in ID Services till I became disabled. It goes to show you that you can do anything you want no matter where you came from as long as you apply yourself and work hard at it!
