They moved away from the Love Me Do type pop song for Sgt Peppers,and actually showed they did have genuine talent.The stuff before Peppers was pretty mundane sound all the same the girlies will like it crap.Peppers changed all that.

2.  brimia (6166) | 8 months ago |  I love pretty much all of them but one of my favorites is Magical Mystery Tour. It has so many great songs... Your Mother Should Know, Baby You're a Rich Man, Hello Goodbye, Strawberry Fields, Penny Lane...I love every song on it.

I can't tell you how many times I've heard a band who took their whole sound from one of the songs on that album. My favorite Beatles Songs are on the White Album.Savoy Truffle, Dear Prudence, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Happiness is a Warm Gun to name a few. Also I am a songwriter and that album had a profound influence on my songwriting.

I'm stuck between two, those being Revolver and The Beatles (aka The White Album). I absolutely love Revolver because of the electric guitar sound of many of the songs. There is not a song on that album I dislike, and And Your Bird Can Sing is a contender for my favourite Beatles song ever. However, The White Album is unbelievable because of the variety of musical styles incorporated. It really is such a fulfilling hour and a half when you listen to it. It's a true musical joy.
