Do you run into people you know when you are shopping?

Yes, it always happens to me. But of course on the days I have no makeup on and look a mess. LOL

This happens to me but because of my memory loss I have no idea who they are & its embarrassing sometimes, cause I really have no idea who they are OR where I know them from...Lori

Yes, I do occasionally run into people I know, because I know a lot of people. I may not stop and talk to them all, but occasionally we do at least say hi when we meet up in the isles. The church I belonged to has 400 members and most of them live in the same town, so I am bound to see some of them. I go to a much smaller church now, but I do run into some of my friends there too. Most of us are in a hurry, so we don't stop and chat.. but we do say hello.

No matter where I go I always run into someone I know. We even go to another town to do our shopping for groceries and run into people from that town. When I worked as a cashier at our Wal-mart I seen past teachers, friends, and even some people that I no longer consider friends. I try to avoid many people by going to a different town because I don't always have time to stop and visit for long periods.

Yes, I have to say it has happened to me a time or 100. It seems when I am out and about is the only time I run into people. Standing in the middle of an aisle chit chatting and catching up. I even have this happen alot when we decide to go out and eat (which isn't often), but low and behold if we don't run into 2 or 3 other couples there.

It doesn't happen to me that much..But always for my husband...I think he knows everyone in the united states....LOL

I always seem to run into people I don't want to see when I go out. For example, today, I ran into my high school vice principal. I didn't really like this guy when I was in school, and then there he was. I also run into people with I went to school but with whom I wasn't friends. I always try to avoid being seen by people - go down a different aisle or something - because I don't want to have to act like I'm glad to see them, and take time passing niceties. If I do run into people I would like to see, it seems like it is always on my "slob" days - like when I was doing some home improvement and needed some spray paint, so I went to the store real quick in a shirt that was covered in paint, and I run into the school clerk from my high school, really nice woman who helps students out with filling out collage applications and getting copies of transcripts (and I had classes with her son).

This happens to me every once in a while and I hate it. Usually if I have loss touch with someone, it is because I do not want them in my life any more. Not necessarily for anything bad. I just do not feel that everyone is menat to be a part of your life for the reat of your life.
