there are so many gods. there is the god of thunder, of the sun,of the star, of fertility,of love, of the heavens and the earth.

my own God is the living God. the God of the heaven and the earth.

I have lots of Gods. Like you said, Gods of many things. My Gods are plenty "living" too though.

My primary Goddess, the Morrigan, is best known for being a deity of war, though she's actually also closely tied to protection, sovereignty, and fertility. That's something a lot of people don't understand about pagan deities, that while they might have a primary "function", most of them are more complicated than that. They don't fit in those boxes humans try to shove them in.

The reasons I follow the Morrigan are many, but mostly it's because she showed me what strength was when I was a small child and had none.

There is only one God. He is the one true God, the living God. He is the One Who sent His one and only Son into this sinful world to save it. He loves us more than we will ever be able to imagine!

Sometimes we can make "gods" from other things. Anything that you put before God Himself is idoltry. Sometimes money becomes our "god" or some other earthly thing.

God bless!happy

Sorry to say the Bible has tons of "sons" instead of one and only son as you have said here. This term "son"was used for Jacob,Solomon,Ephraim,Adam(all pbuh)and for the common people. If you want I can give references from the Bible. It is a fact that this word was used for many people out of love and not for one person. Please read the following references:

"Israel is my son, even my first son." (Exodus 4:22)

"He (Solomon) shall build an house for my name and i will establish the throne of his kingdom for ever.I will be his father, and he shall be my son." (Samuel 7:13-14)

"for I am a father to Israel, and Ephrahim is my first born." (Jeremiah 31:9)
PLEASE TELL ME WHO IS GOD"S FIRST BORN?ISRAEL OR EPHRAIM?

" Adam, which was the son of God." (Luke 3:38)

Then the common people, you and me and all,are also sons of God Almighty:
"You are the children of the Lord your God."(Deuteronomy 14:1)"For as many as are led by the spirit of God,they are the sons of God."

Please do count all these sons of God and then think whether your claim for one and only son is justified or not???All Christian brothers should read these references and then decide...........what is wrong and what is right??

Have you read the scriptures in their original language? What words are used for all these people (and countries)? Are they the same as the one used for Son of God?

Do they have a 'history' explaining how they are the Son of God, born without a human father?

Of course in the Quran Jesus is simply another human prophet. But you're using the Christian Bible, so I'll work from there.

I'm afraid my answer is rather dull; I'm a follower of Christ... well, I like to think I am. Not sure I do too well at it all.

However, I do not believe that there are no other gods (I just found out the word for this; monolatrism). Nor do I have the ego to think I have it all figured out. My 'faith' is ever changing, my beliefs are ever evolving, being replaced by other beliefs. Or ideas, as Dogma would have it.

Well, I will say this; YHWH may have originally been a sky god, a god of the living (as opposed to gods of the earth, the underworld and the dead), in early Israel and that Israelites were not originally monotheistic. Also, some scholars speculate that Abraham was in fact Akhenaten (amongst other ancient kings of the Near East). He was the heretic king of Egypt who created a monotheistic state for a short period. This would make God and Aten the same being, the sun god, god of creation, that Akhenaten worshipped as the only god.

Of all the gods he could have picked... Aten is so boring... lol

I love ancient history.
