 I spend at least 80% of my day online. Is this too much time to spend online? How much time do you usually spend on the internet? Do you feel you could better use your time in other ways and almost have to be online to pay bills and such? The web really is taking over our lives lol.

In some cases, I am looking up information for the papers I have to write or turning in homework (I'm doing classes online). I only work 10 hours a week and as long as I spend about 10 hours on homework, then I am free to do anything else I want the rest of the time. I could go out and exercise, but I think I would rather be in here or playing online games than being outside. I do prefer online banking and being able to check things out because without that, I would really be out of touch since I am in China right now whereas my main bank account is in America. Thanks for bringing up the topic.

4.  ryantakyan (139) | 6 months ago |  On weekdays when I have my classes, I spend around 40-50% of my day online doing a lot of stuff. But when I do not have classes and there are no other schedules in conflict, then the sky is the limit.
It's a matter of self-control. If you really think that the internet is taking away your life then moderate yourself in using the web.

| 5. mishastar (511) | 6 months ago |  I do spend a lot of time online. I don't have cable so I watch a lot of television shows and movies when I can online. I also take online classes, and play internet games. But I don't spend enough amount of time where I am addicted to it.
