Is Success Can Be Measured By Money?

I believe that financial success can only be measured by money, but I do not think that a persons success can be based soley on how much a person makes. I know that there are people out there who earn a lot of money, but they are alone in the world. I would say that though he has a lot of money he is not successful in life. Where a poor person with a loving family, and friends. I would say that they are successful in life because they have a family that will always be there, people to love. Even if they are just getting by financially, they are doing it together.

I think that there are a lot of different parts to success, you have success in money, success in love, success in family matters... So no money isnt every thing. It does make things in life easier though. For example if you have money and need a little get away, you can have it with your family, or partner. And relationships can suffer a huge strain if there are money problems... arguing over money is very common. I think that having money is a much bigger part of life than it was a generation or two ago. So having money counts alot to more and more people. So i guess success for yourself is how you define it. if having money is what is important then when you achieve that you will consider yourself successful. if having a great marriage is most important and you achieve that then you can consider yourself successful...I guess success as is beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

There are various form of success. Money is just one of them.

Most people with a good job... focus on making money... because they have the opportunity to make money.

The only ones saying that money is not important are the ones that don't have any. And the reason for this... is that they have learned to live with the bare minimum... and have discovered that you can still be happy while being poor.

i think money is not necesarily means that a person is sucessful cause it has a lot of ways to be sucessful in life. money doesn't guarantee a great and meaningful sucess in life

I believe that everybody wants to be financially stable or even more than that but it doesn't mean you are fully successful.Success can be measured through your life satisfaction.I mean you got all you wanted in your life but the most important thing is your totally happy with your life.Happiness that comes from within not because of your money but because you feel it inside your heart.

for me success can be measured through contented and satisfaction. there are a lot of rich people who are successful in their fields of business but still not satisfied on what they have. i can say that i am successful for i am the one who manage my children and support them in every little way i can. i am happy in where we are right now and how far we had been from before. there are more dreams i wish to achieve but that will all fall in the right places.

In my opinion, success can be measured by many standards such as the sense of satisfaction, the sense of welfare, the money you earn, the relationship with your families and friends, the achievement for your goals or the mental and body health. Different person must have different meaning about success due to unique status, living condition and the environment as well. As far as I am concerned, I believe I should first achieve my short-term goal and lay the money issue aside.I hope that I have a healthy baby and a beloved husband. Enough amount of money is just okay. To enjoy life is the important thing for me.
Money could bring us more material satisfaction than any other things. Basically, as a well-known saying said, and I paraphrased, money is not everything, but without money is nothing. Historically,
there were still vast amount of people who died from chasing after money. What a pity!
What is I want to emphasis is that we need to turn money into colourful life.

I agree to your apinion that money is not the measure of one's success. One person maybe rich but not successful. i remember, there's this person in our community, he can afford to buy anything except for a family. His wife left him, and his son was put to jail. can u call this success? on the other hand, everyone has their own opinion, success mean reaching your goal/s. so sucess may also differ from one person to anothe person.

I agree with you. Money, assuming you're at least meeting your basic requirements, seems to me to be the least important factor in feeling successful or happy with your life. You may be earning a great living, but if you hate your job and wake up each morning loathing that you have to go there again, how is that being successful? On the other hand, if you choose to live frugally so that you can spend more time with your family or pursuing your interests, you may be very content with your life.

but indeed success cannot be bought by money.
