Ever get confused by the Puerto Rican and Cuban Flags?  |

 They are so similar that I often get confused. This is not good if you have friends that are cuban or puerto rican. They are very very different people with different histories. I have also gotten confused the the flags of Texas and Chile. They are also very similar.

1.  pghcityhall (685) | 6 months ago |  I do lol. I remember that Cuba is technically communist so they have a "red" field and a star on top of that. Whereas Puerto Rico has a "blue" field. Like the U.S. flag that has a blue field. Since I remember that little noggin I don't confuse them much.

You should know the difference then. I'm sure people get the two confused because they have very similar colors

The first time I saw a Puerto Rican flag I lived on a military post in New England and a woman down the street had a Puerto Rican flag displayed in her front window. And I said, "Oh..um, are you..confederate?" And the woman FELL OVER and started LAUGHING!
(WELL?! I am from New York! I didn't know!)
I am happy she had a good sense of humor and was not offneded? But ..at least I know now. | |
