 We Must Love Each Other For Our Imperfections The Rest Is Easy!
What does that mean to you MyLotters? This was in todays Register's happy musings and I puzzled over this . We are taught to try to be perfect.
Yet this author is saying we love each others imperfections?
Maybe what he is getting at is that we love the little bumps that our mates have because that is part of them. For example my husband always started out the door, came back for something, and returned to look for yet something else. This is something he just did most of the time so I got used to his doing that as if it were part of his make up. Do you mylotters see it that way?

I remember my friends view on Life.. he says, it just travelling on a road. If the road is too smooth.. we won't drive careful..either we drive too fast.. or fall asleep during our driving. Only when you have small bumps on the road, we will be careful while driving.. Life is some thing similar to that.. when we have a smooth life without any problems, even, that is boring. Its Joy and Sorrow, clubbed together makes our life happier.(unfortunately that is the road condition of India..hahaha..)

It took me a long time to accept myself for my own faults!
And consequently I had trouble accepting others with their flaws.
I struggled with this issue for years, trying to achieve
perfection within myself on everything from how I behaved to how I looked.
I had so many weight issues to deal with and inside never
loved myself.
And then one day, I realized that I am just human.
And maybe that is oversimplifying things.
But it's the truth.
We are all just human.
Flawed and far from perfect.
There are some things we cannot change, no matter how hard
we try or how much we stress ourselves.
Maybe the first step to accepting others (flaws and all) is to
accept and love our own self for who we really are!
And that means loving your own flaws. Accepting your own quirks.
Finding forgiveness in your heart for things you do.
When a person accepts themselves, they will find it easier
to accept others for who they really are!
