Mothman, The Blair Witch, or Bigfoot anyone?  | |  So do you have a favorite "Urban Legend" or do you believe in these stories? I just watched "Parnormal investigation" last night and the story was on the Mothman prophesy. I love this story and although I don't know if I really believe I am curious how many of us do and if you do is it because you have had an experience that made you a believer or is it because it's just a cool idea! I think that some of the things that they talked about in this story were pretty good explanations if you believe in the spirit world and so I ask. Do you believe? Do you not believe but still love the story? Anyone?

It is my favorite one because there is not much known about this creature which makes it more interesting to me. I have even tried to look it up online and there just is not much on the devil. I do not believe that this is a true story. I think at the very most that it was a severely deformed baby and people were just freaked out at the very sight of it. I have seen a few things about the mothman but I just cannot get into it at all. I like the Blair Witch. She is definately freaky and it is actually based on true events. I also like the story about the bell witch. Now as far as Bigfoot....I just do not know about this one. I cannot see why so many believe in them when we have not even found a dead one. Surely they don't bury their own dead. Without proof I just don't believe in them.

 hornswaggled (871) | 5 months ago | Ooh the New Jersey Devil is a good one! I too like that story. As for the Blair witch I love the story but they killed it with the stupid movie for me. I didn't think the Mothman thing was really something until I watched the story last night and did some research. I think the psychic said he thought it had something to do with extreme intelligence. So maybe they are something from another place in the universe. The head investigator also had a picture of what looked like Mothman at the twin towers when they fell. I'll have to try to look up that pic. As for Bigfoot I watched "Monster Quest" a few weeks ago and it was fascinating! These guys went to a very remote cabin in Canada only accessible by plane for fishing and there cabin got trashed while gone for the day; so they made a board with these hundred screws sticking up through it and layed it in front of the door. When they came back the next year they say something had stepped on them and injured themselves. The resident expert said it couldn't be a grizzly or other bear because it was way too late in the season for them to not be hibernating so they took the board to a forensic scientist and he said the blood was 98% human and 2% primate( I think that was the figures) So I am sold on it.They also got a film crew out there and they had something throwing rocks at the cabin. Now mind you, this place is over 200 miles from another cabin or other people so it was an interesting story! Thanks for sharing! | |
