Food of the gods......bacon sandwich

Oh gosh, you are absolutely evil - now I'm wanting a bacon sandwich - smothered w/ mayo! There goes the diet - LOL

I love bacon sanwhiches on wheat bread with miracle whip. I don't like tomatos so I don't eat BLT's but I do like them with just bacon on them but they are very unhealthy for you. I am starting to crave one now though maybe for lunch today I will have one.

Especially when I use Asda White Batch Bread,and Lurpak original butter.
No healthy options for me when its a Bacon sandwich we are talking about.

YUMMY! I just had one this morning for the first time in a year! Bacon on toast with lettuce, peanut butter and sharp cheddar cheese! No sweet pickles in the house or they would've been added, as well.

And here I thought I was the only one who liked just a Bacon sandwich!! My husband always says Im wierd when I make on but its soooo good. I have it on toasted bread with a little mayo and ALOT of bacon! YUM! Now I want one..LOL!

Oh! I Would Love To Have A Bacon, Egg & Cheese Sandwich On White Bread With Msyo! I Am Drooling All Over My Keyboard Thinking About It And Can't Have One Til I Make A Trip To The Grocery Store! I love bacon on soft white bread, with nothing else. I thought I was the only one who ate it that way. Now I'm hungry!

My two favorite sandwiches in the world both have bacon.

One would be a classic BLT - on toasted sourdough bread, with real mayonnaise (homemade if you can swing it), especially with garden fresh tomatoes and a crisp, peppery lettuce like romaine or arugula. The only thing that makes that even better is a slice of dead ripe avocado, and maybe some cucumber if there's a good bumper crop.

Two would be an ABC (apple, bacon, and cheddar), also on toasted sourdough bread. The apple slices have to be green, and the cheddar has to be extra sharp, although I'm not too picky about it being yellow or white. The sweet apples, with the smoky, salty bacon against the sharp cheese...*swoons*

(Also a really interesting pairing is peanut butter with bacon. Sounds crazy, but it's good. My mom makes some mean jalapeno poppers for the Super Bowl - she fills the peppers with peanut butter and then wraps them in bacon. Yum!)
