Man trades wife for a goat with 3 kids

I guess it would largely depend on how much I liked my wife, and how cute the goat and it's kids are. I mean, goats are really adorable. Could you resist those little goat faces?

And if I were the wife? Well, how hunky is the farmer?

If my husband traded my daughter, however, I would kick his butt!

Customs are different all over the world. Women are not treated as equal to Men in very many places. It is easy to buy, sell, and trade wives and girls in many countries. Children are still sold into slavery if a family cannot afford to feed all of them.

There are groups of American school children who collect money to buy children in Africa out of slavery. This has been going on for years, and it was thought to be a wonderful program until they realized that the children were being captured before they could get back home, and put back to laboring again. They finally had to actually move the children to far away areas and never let them near their families again until they were grown, so that they could be kept out of slavery and be educated.

This woman may be better off where she is now. She may even be blessed with a child now. It was probably her husband that was infertile, not her!

If you were talking trading a goat for my ex husband..there is no way I could have lost on that deal.

Seriously, my guess is there were other problems and if all parties agreed with it, well..I guess why not. Obviously they live in a different culture then we do.

In my case it would have been my husband and no I would not have traded him for a goat and her kids no way. and I would have hated anyone doing such a thing to a daughter of mine. No I do not condone trading human beings off like so many cows or goats that just plain awful to me. mooch. smacks of the days of the slave trade with poor black women being bought and sold like cattle.

It's hard to believe this. But then there a lots of weirdoes & people out there who dont have a normal set of human emotions.
I see this happened in Bulgaria.
Society obviously hasn't advanced in some countries. Nor have womens & childrens rights.
I dread to think that the poor child will think of it.

Initially I thought, "That is terrible of the man!" But then I read that she went along with it. If she is okay with the deal, who am I to say it was wrong. Right? She must not have been happy with her husband either.

the wife agreed so everyone was happy, different cultures like a the world in different ways, it is all about what you are used to and what is normal in your country, and of course normal does include customs and the law.

Hi mooch! Oh my goodness! That is so primitive! Pardon my words! I am just glad my husband don't like goats to take care of or else he would be trading me also. haha..just joking! If I have a daughter who has been traded like this, i really don't know what I will do. really?! I think I will be really feel so insulted for my daughter and my family for trading her just like that. That action or behavior seems to have no respect to human dignity at all. Hello dear mooch. I would never do this like this man does. He is somewhat crazy to have this kind of decision to trade his wife for a goat with three goats. I have no idea what his wife thinks about it. It is weird of both the man and the local farmer.
