If you had a small town..?

I do live in a small town and am on the betterment committee. We have old buildings that need taken down but the cost is too much and the owners aren't held responsible for them. That would be the first thing I would do. Then I would open a store like Dollar General where you can get everything in one stop and not be expensive. I have often wanted to just open a dollar store here but not sure I could make a go of it. So figure one like Dollar Genreal would work.. kind of like the old fashion General stores you used to see in old towns. Maybe someday I will make my millions and can do that for my town. In the mean time we are just trying to make things look better.

An old fashioned bakery and butcher shop instead of only big supermarkets would be nice there, also lots of flowerbeds and trees with benches there to give nice opportunities for a nice rest when you are tired from all your errands.
A big safe playground for the kids.

My dream is to open a gift shop where I live. We don't have any on our main shopping street. But If I had to do one thing to make my town a better place. I would want parenting meetings set up. There are far to many young parents,some older as well. That are just not parenting in a positive manner.

No parent is perfect we all know that. I am just proud of all the great words I hear people tell me. I feel I could learn a lot form a parenting class as well. These days there are just not enough good parents around.

I am sad to say it out loud but it's true.

I live in a small town with no music stores, throw in a Heavy Metal music store and I am good to go. I don't need nothing else but that.
