Thanks, He is still in the hospital. He had an oeration for colon cancer and that operation went fine but then he started having DT's because of..well i don't know why. He is very private and never shares anything with us because he doesn't want our mom to worry.

I found out today it is stage 3 which isn't as bad as stage 6 which is common. It did get to some of the lymph nodes so they will need to do radiation. I am thinking of taking a couple of weeks FEMLA and just living off my savsings and that won't be a problem. If need be I could do it 4 months or more.

So sorry he has to have the radiation, well I hope it doesnt make him sick, I mean too nauseous..well, see there is a good lesson for all of us muscles, to always have money put by for emergencies..you are a grand one for that..Yes you should take your leave if you want to..make use of it. Good you have it now..will be praying for him muscles..xoxoox

thanks you for the positive response. If my employee gives me any trouble at all about this I am contacting Federal Wage and Labor board. I am going to stay positive though and not expect the worse. Maybe if I tell them I will work Saturday and Sundays that will help them not be so snotty.

I suppose some others feel that if you are not near them in physical geography, then it is hard to have a friendship..I do not feel this is so.
