OMEGA 3 Fatty Acids & ADHD |
|
ADHD children also tend to have more allergies, eczema, asthma, headaches, stomaches, ear infections and dry skin than non-ADHD youngsters It is stated, While all children with ADHD are not deficient in OMEGA 3 fatty acids, we believe that the addition of OMEGA 3 fatty acids to the DIET may be important for some ADHD children. These results were further confirmed in 1983. When essential fatty acids were examined in 23 maladjusted children and 20 normal children, essential fatty acid blood levels in poorly behaved children were significantly lower. www.healingwithnutrition....

1. sedel1027 (11789) | 6 months ago | Makes sense to me. Too bad the vast majority of the Omega-3 you need is while you are in the womb when your brain is actually forming. I really think that pregnant women should have to take fish oil pills.

hiccup (4712) | 6 months ago | I think we are getting better at it so it wont be long before it will be safe, but this relates to seafood, but soft cheese is also no good for pregnant women.

hiccup (4712) | 6 months ago | Yes there is omega6 this comes from Seeds & Grains. Can you see here that grains and seeds have always been good for us, reason is it has omega6 (fatty oils) this is the good oil we the body can not produce, We need fat in our food intake it is required for our heart and brain as these two only live on fat, so the need for safe fat,

2. DonnaLawson (1771) | 6 months ago | My son had ADHD, ADD and Tourettes Syndrome, (his TS is hardly noticable now), but the only problems on your list that he had were the headaches (migraines), and ear infections.. He is grown now and none of the childhood problems bother him now.. Thank the Lord..

hiccup (4712) | 6 months ago | OMEGA 3 seems to do wonderful things and if you like fish what a bonus. I have always liked fish but now I eat a lot more, and I di believe my memory is far better than it has been in the past.

olivemai (2608) | 6 months ago | The only problem is the price! My kids love good juicy watermelon. So sweet.

hiccup (4712) | 6 months ago | In truth, all capsicums (bell peppers) should be the same price, they only play with the genetics to get the other colours, Bur as you say they are dear product. Some times you can get other peepers cheaper and are not hot, these are long and skinny normal colour lettuce green,

olivemai (2608) | 6 months ago | But what if you are allergic to peppers?

hiccup (4712) | 6 months ago | Many of the findings have been known since 1983, and for all of me I can not understand why the public have not been told in a health awareness campaign If you go into Google and ask..."what is Omega3and ADHD" you will find on the page information to do with ADHD and Omega3. Great reading and everything that a parent should know to help them with and to improve their child.

Jemina (2239) | 6 months ago | Well, you know the world of business and enterprise is most of the time evil. They try to hide important information to the public or they don't really tell everything. Yesterday I read in the newspaper that Ritalin could kill because it is not advisable with ADHD. But Ritalin producers said that they have a warning enclosed which I think does not tell all the exact information parents should know. On the other hand, parents should always be cautious when administering meds to their kids. They should check all the good and bad effects of the medicine.
