If you are fat or very thin do you feel embarrassed to go out in public? So, let us have a discussion on how to reduce weight for those who are fat and how to put on weight for those who are thin. Your advice please.

1. bjcyrix (1500) | 8 months ago | Hi! I cant say if Im 'fat' or 'thin' because I think of myself as an average. But I do think I have gotten fat from the last months because now I ahve love handles especially around the stomach area when last year I didnt have them. Im eating at the same rate too. So I can honestly say that exercise is key. this is because last year I ahve school and that I ahve P.E. That time I can eat whenever I want and whatever I want. I was bewildered too because I didnt gain any pounds and my other friends were envious of me because they siad I was thinner. But now its the summer break and I eat the same things but minus the exercise so I the pounds are gaining on me. Im in trouble too because next term I dont have P.E. anymore and this discussion actually made me think on how am I supposed to lose all this weight without the help of P.E. Exercising alone is so boring and really discouraging taht I give up easily. anyways, what I did for exercies then is playing Badminton 5 hours a week or Basketball 2 hours a week. Just those hours a week can help and playing with lots of friends makes it fun and is less of an exercise. So thats how I reduced weight and hopefully I can reduce these that Ive gained. Goodluck for everyone.! PS. for those thin people who want to gain a little weight. Eat a lot of rice! My friend who is really thin(5'9, just 100pounds!) gained some weight by increasing his rice intake. Just thought you'd like to know. Goodluck to all of us weight watchers!^_^

mathewsir (452) | 7 months ago | I think that milk along with dry fruits especially dates will help you put on weight. Also my son who was very thin started putting on weight when he started having Milo in his milk. If you don't get Milo the next choice would be anything with barley along with milk. On waking up in the morning, fill your lungs with fresh air about 20 times. This should be done at least 3 times a day - morning, afternoon and evening. Air is the most important thing for man, even more than water or food as you will survive only for a few minutes without air. But the quality of air should be good like that found near greenery or parks. Next soak the exposed parts of your body for about 10-15 minutes in sunshine. It will boost your immune system. Also go for morning walks for about 30 minutes. Finally get enough sleep and make it a point to be in bed by about 11p.m. as the body repairs itself between 11p.m. and 1 a.m. Take full meals at the right time and include a lot of fruits and vegetables in your diet. Avoid colas/junk food and drink plenty of water. If you follow the above tips not only will you be healthy and fit but hopping around like a lamb in the days, months and years ahead.. I don't believe in taking slimming pills or other products to lose weight. Sometimes the advertisement itself seems to be too good to be true.

I've been working on losing weight for some time now, but have been really successful with it this year so far. Since Jan 1, I have lost 27 pounds. I've been following the South Beach Diet. I have been following this plan for almost 5 years, but hadn't been sticking 100% with it. I am now and I honestly don't think I'll have a weight problem ever again. Since following it honestly and totally, I don't even want foods that aren't part of the plan.
