Government Leaders Which Do You Prefer - Male of Female?

In my opinion it shouldn't matter if it is a woman or a man but only if the person knows what they are talking about and is the kind of person I can put my little trust I generally have in any politician in..If they can actually do what they so easily promise they would..that's what I look at..

That is the way it is, but not necessarily the way it ought to be. I don't see that a male appendage makes a person more fit to run a family, a business, or even the country. Men like to think they are superior, but if truth be told many times it is the woman who has the voice of reason in the household. I feel the stereotypes should be done away with and let the person with the best ability do the job, whether it is in the home, business world or the country.

It seems that throughout history males have been the dominate ones. They have been the hunters and the family leaders. Back in the 50's women were encouraged not to work but to stay home and raise a family. There is still a problem because women are still behind in the corporate world. I can remember when women were rarely doctors, police, company heads or politicians. They have been paid less then men for doing the exact same job. There are many excuses for this but they are just not good. Margaret Thatcher proved that she could be Prime Minister of England. I really think that one day a woman will be President of the United States. Only time will tell.

It doesn't really matter if the leader would be a male or a female, as long as they know what they are doing and they will be a good example to govern everybody.

I prefer male. They said that there is a female behind a powerful male leader and that is important.

I feel as long as they are qualified and can do the job that it does not matter if they are male or female.
