I would give myself away walking into the store.
I would look so guilty.
Nah the life of crime was never for me.
And besides I would have got my butt kicked from Australia to America for just thinking about it.

yes i was a theif as well p1ke.it was about 100 years ago (it feels like it)when i was about 6 years old and i stole a packet of musk life savers.i was caught red handed.it gave me such a shock that i never stole another thing in my life.cheers sue

I think many of us has been stolen 1-2 times in our life.
Myself,for nearly 40years ago,I was stolen an inkpen
I´ve been taken some small things later in life.As inkpens or papers from my work.
You know,it´s so easy to write something,and then put the pen in your pocket.
Also when I´ve been visit a hotel,I take the small soaps you find at WC
No one knows what I´ve been doing until now

ok ok ok im gonna half confess here as people on here know me lmao. I HAVE before but not from anyone who knows me and nothing 'major' lol. No I was never 'caught' but I have actually used the stuff in front of the person I took it from before and they didnt even realize it (several times) lol. thats about all im going to say about that one without digging my own grave lol. (was mainly in school and I grew out of it) my two cents worth there for ya lol

Wow Callard an abaowsers..only the best for you eh??...well suprisingly enough ive done many other things ..but I never actually took anything...but....my daughter did!!!!..we lived near a little paper shop..which sold sweets...and she did exactly the same as you!!..but..the shop assistant..who knew me..caught her...OH..the shame!!!..and said that if it ever happened again that she woul tell me!!...I found out about this just a few years ago...lol she could never bring herself to tell me!!!!

I stole a pack of gum when I was about 2 1/2 years old. Neither my mom or the cashier noticed at the time, but when we got home, my mother noticed me chewing something. She asked what it was, and I told her it was "bubbanum". She asked where I had gotten it. I answered, "from the gocey store." She spanked me, took me back over to the store, and made me apologize to the store manager and the cashier. She paid for the pack of gum to show me just how "we don't steal", and then she threw it away! I know now that she paid for it b/c it was open, otherwise she would have just given it back. And she threw it away so I couldn't have any more. Such a punishment!

Another story, as a teen, I ran around with some people I shouldn't have. My mom raised me better than those kids' parents raised them, evidently, cause I rarely went along with what they wanted to do. They all liked to steal stuff, so I would go to the store with them, but not take anything. I always paid for my stuff. One of them was my cousin, and she was my "cover" to the rest of the kids. One day she and I went out together, for legitimate reasons, I needed deodorant or shampoo or something like that, cause that's the section of the store we were in. They also keep makeup in that department, so we stopped to look at some. There was an eyeshadow palette of different shades of purple (my favorite color), and I said "Oh, wow, look! I love it, wouldn't I look fabulous in that? I'll have to come back and get it when I get paid!" I was also the only one who had a job. So we finished getting what I needed, went through the checkout, and back to my car. I was fishing in my purse for my keys..and found..the purple eyeshadow palette. My own cousin had made me steal from the store, and I never even knew it! At the time, I couldn't come up with a reason to take it back in without her getting physically violent, so I just decided to keep it, and take it back after I'd dropped her off. You know, the whole "Oh, I got out to my car and realized I hadn't paid for this, I'm so sorry" type of thing. Never got the chance. As soon as we got back to her house, she opened the damn thing. I realize now that I could have done the same thing my mother did; even though it had been opened, I still could have gone back and apologized, and paid for it. But at 17, I totally froze up and forgot my good sense, and just let my cousin keep what she had stuck in my purse. That was the last time I hung around her and her friends, and nothing out of the ordinary has turned up in my purse since. And I don't wear purple eyeshadow, either. Except at Halloween.

I have stolen lots of things over the years, some purposely, some absentmindedly. But it was stealing nonetheless. I was never caught, so obviously I am better than you. It was never anything of much value... items that were less than a dollar here and there... so even if I had been caught, I'm sure I would have only received a reprimanding.

I have done other things that weren't classified as "stealing", but were criminal, had I been caught. I must have a horseshoe up my arse, because I've never had any problems with getting caught. For the most part, I live my life on the straight and narrow now... I'm (mostly) a goodie two shoes... and I like it that way.

Hey, if confession is good for YOUR soul, darling, then go on ahead and confess, by all means. But I'm pleading the fifth! Throughout my life, when I've gotten it in my head to steal something, I've done it, and I've never gotten caught. It's a terrible thing, but I'm very good at it. It's all in what you steal and how you do it. Remember the scene in Breakfast at Tiffany's where they steal the masks from the five and dime? I would liken my thievery to that. Sale earrings. That's all I'll say.
