 I have seen brave heart movie number of times and every time i like to watch that movie very much and i got various messages while watching that movie and he is real hero in this film and he lead the time at one side and he did a great job for his country and in that last seen was very good so director and producer did a great job and some sens are very nice.

| 1. farmaz (48) | 3 months ago | Oh my,this was an excellent movie of Mel Gibson.He did sound like a Scottish and his performance was damn good.The message that I received is that do not give your country just because you can stay alive.Do not be afraid of your enemies while make them fear you.William Wallace was a man who fought with honor and a strong heart for his country and a murdered wife.For those who haven't watch this,please do.When I have a son or daughter,I am going to force them to watch this so that they can cultivate the patriotic spirit like how William Wallace did for his countrymen.And I will tell my kids not to be a traitor,never ever in their life just for the sake of material advantages.Beautiful movie with various messages.Of course there's also love for his wife and fellow countrymen.That my friend,is a great love. | |

| 3. emeraldisle (9056) | 3 months ago |  I love this movie. It was very well done and one I never get tired of watching. You are right there are a lot of different messages sent in the movie and each time I watch it I seem to catch different aspects.
One of the big ones of course is about betrayal. That you can't betray one another. That is a big under lying theme through all it. From the betrayal of Long-shanks at the beginning and the death of his father to the betrayal of the Loyals in Scotland and especially from The Bruce. It's all in there and it reminds you how easy it is to betray another but that it is something you must live with which is far harder.
The other of course is about freedom. The fact that freedom isn't free and must be fought for. That we should never take it for granted and we should want it no matter what. That it is worth fighting for. Mel Gibson did a fantastic job of telling the stor and showing these messages. He pulled it all together and made it incredible.
