Has your child ever loved an article of clothing  | |  so much that when they outgrew it you had to do something with it because they wouldn't let you throw it out?
My son outgrew a shirt that had a dragon and a warrior on it - beautiful deep blues and purples - he won't let me toss it, so as a compromise we are going to buy a frame and make it into a piece of wall art.
Anyone else??

He dragged it around for so long that it fell apart and luckily she crocheted him another. He still had it in his room when he was twelve! I eventually talked him into letting me stitch it into a half-size quilt for him so now he'll always have it and it won't fall apart--at least not within sight of anyone!
Would your son let you use it to stuff a small pillow or something?

Sadly he got older and his sizes changed, he still tried to wear his favorite shirt but it wasn't long before it started to rip at the seems. He had just outgrown the shirt, he has other shirt that he likes just as well but so far none quite as well as the blue one.
