 I really really liked Dirty Dancing but I am gonna have to say that my all time fav is gonna have to be Road House. He kicks some serious but, gets the girl and saves the day all in his own hot way.
Dalton is an expert "cooler" -- a barroom bouncer who can break up fights without getting himself killed in the process. Frank Tilghman, the owner of the Double Deuce in Jasper, Missouri, has hired Dalton away from a bar in Memphis, because Tilghman needs someone who can handle the nightly outbreaks of violence at the Double Deuce, and teach the rest of the Double Deuce's bouncers how to handle it. There's even a cage protecting the bar's band from the customers. The band is led by Dalton's old friend Cody, who is blind. Dalton is injured on his first night on the job and is treated by Elizabeth "Doc" Clay, the local doctor. Dalton and Doc soon fall in love with each other, and this angers Brad Wesley, a crime boss that Doc was once involved with -- and may still be involved with. Wesley is also responsible for a lot of the violence at the Double Deuce, and for some time, Wesley has had the sheriff in his pocket. Wesley wants money from these people and is responsible for much mayhem. Written by Todd Baldridge

1.  nowment (1060) | 6 months ago |  While Ghost and Dirty Dancing are his most famous and popular and I do enjoy Road House it is a great movie, it is fun for what it is, I suppose the most favorite for me is not a movie but a mini series. North and South.
But then I also loved Red Dawn, the Outsiders, Next of Kin, Too Wong Foo Thanks for Everything Julie Newmar, and he made a great bad guy in Point Break, I suppose I also really loved Three Wishes.
Three Wishes, it is different, and just kind of has something special but it has to be seen to be appreciated.

Then there is Black Dog, and Tall Tale which was a great depiction of all the old school tales. I love Tall Tale, have you seen it? Then there is Fatherhood, Pointbreak, Steel Dawn. I loved Next of Kin and yes he did make a really good bad guy, mmmhhhmmm. LOL | |

He plays a transvestite, along with Wesley Snipes and Jon Leguizamo. What's that, you say, a transvestite? Yup. It's really the most wonderful movie, tata, rent it - you'll see. Then let me know.

5.  drknlvly6781 (2336) | 6 months ago |  I am not too much of a Patrick Swayze follower, but my favorite movie with him in it has to be "To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything, Julie Newmar". This movie is about three drag queens (him, Wesley Snipes, and John Leguizamo) who decide to become stars. So they rent a car, and take a road trip to California. Unfortunately they run into car trouble, and end up in a small town where they end up teaching, and being taught a lesson about life.
I love this movie, and Patrick Swazye does good as a woman!!! His character, Ms Vida, is a very classy, Stepford Wife type person. The movie is very funny and heartwarming. Very surprising when you think its a movie about drag queens. If you have never seen this movie you just have to watch it!!!

I wanted to cry during this movie. It was so sad when he was killed and turned to warn Demi about the danger she was in and tell her who killed him.

Loved watching him dance! It was an entertaining movie I should watch again pretty soon. It's been awhile now.
