The only time I really seem to stress out is at work. The place is so caotic. I just wish at times I could just grow wings and fly like the birds when I'm like this. I useally will listen to music,or take a hot bath, try to wind down. Stress takes a toll on your body after a while.

I feel like I'm stressed out ALL the time. It really sucks! Honestly, when I get stressed out I go smoke a cigarette. I know, it's really bad. I need to find another way to deal, but it really does help atleast for a few moments. Other times I just need to get away from everything for a little bit and take a breather. I suggest taking a drive on a nice day, or taking a nap. I also do those things.

I have to agree w/ you that when I get stress a smoke does calm me down a bit. That's how I got to start in the first place I was w/ a friend for something got me mad and we went for a walk and she had a cigarette and I said let me have one she did and I have been at it since. I need to quit thoug for I know there's better ways to deal w/ stress than this.

I suppose I get stress from the same place. When I do work in the summer I do get stressed out sometimes. However, where I get the most stress from is at school. Mostly, it is my own fault because I procrastonate with my homework or sometimes I do not understand it so I get all stressed out and depressed about it.

I used to be the same way when I was in school and I knew it wasn't going to do it by itself so I was the one who had to sit there and do it. Mine is especially from work and the caoticness that goes on there. I just wish they would run things better and the employees would do more of what there suppose to and less foling arouns like they do.

Well, I think we have all been there. About a month or so ago, I would have agreed with you that where I work makes me very stressed out as well. But for now, things are getting better there. I am finding I have a Great Boss most of the time, and I am liked. I just need to worry sometimes more about myself, and not others.

But when I get really stressed, for me, I like to come home and wind down listening to Music, posting here in myLot, and sometimes go in and take a nap hoping that when I awake I will feel a lot better, and refreshed. Sometimes it helps by doing so.

All you need to remember, is this too shall pass, and try to do things you enjoy, and if it is really your job, try to figure out what is causing it and make it better if you can. Wishing you the best.

All those things are great for relieveing stress. Like I said I only really tend to get stressed at work but I think you are right I was worrying to much about what others were doing and things not getting done and myself haveing to pick up the extra slack for it and not worrying about myself. I have learned to just go in and fully focus on just what is in front of me and found the stress level drop quite a bit. Now if I can con't w/ doing that wich sometimes I don't I should be all set. Thanks for your suggestions and I will try my best just to do that. I also find that comeing on here get's my stress level down and music and cleaning as well anything that requires extra thought will useally bring it down as well. Thanks for your response and take care.

I most certainly will look at your blog to see what you have. With the struggles that we deal w/ and the stress if we don't do it then we won't have no money and it would be pointless your right on that for it's not going to do it itself. I still like to pretend in my mind I'm flying away to a far away place where I can just be at ease and have no stressful worries.
Thanks for your response and take care.

Hi,

Our modern day Lifestyles plus differing demands even of our family members is causing a lot of stress and worries these days .I look out at Morning Walks,Jogging,Watching Movies and listening to Movies as a means of chilling out and reducing stress.

Mylot is another way for me to relieve myself.Sometimes,I am feeling low. So I start a New Discussion stating things I am feeling troubled by .I also respond to others' discussions on the Topics I feel I am having quite a lot to share .

And taking out Stress is so important these days .

I think those are some great ways to relieve stress and have done a few myself.
Stress does take it's toll on us and brings us down. I am trying to not stress as much for that isn't me but it's a part of life and we all go through it at one time or another.

I like to get a relaxation massage. I find this really helps me. Maybe once or twice a month as it can be expensive depending on where you live. I trade massages with a friend from massage and bodywork school so I don't have to pay. I use to get a massage 3 times a week during school and I loved it. I also find that giving massage also helps me with stress especially with music in the background.

I also find that when I am doing more exercise or sports it is a great stress buster for me as well. I don't seem to be stressed as much when being very active. But on my lazy weeks I can be really stressed.

myLot reputation of 94/100. Remembering1996 (889)   ranked 203 out of 207 in stress  2 months ago

Oh how I would love to get a body message but the places around here where I live is expensive. I useally just soak in some screaming hot water in the tub and let the muscles relax that way. Your lucky your frind can do that for you and not charge you. Goes to show how special of a friend they are. Yes exercise is a great way to deal w/ it also I get plenty of that at work but that's where my stress is comeing from so ya it helps but then again no at the same time. I should get involved in more sport type like events for I like doing that and that would be a good stress releiver also. Thanks for your response and take care.

If you are stressed at work I recommend relaxation videos at
http://www.relaxwithnature.com
The video and music bring tears to my eyes, as if I were there too. In this crazy world, with the rat race going on all the time, such places are like paradise.

I will take that into consideration and see if that may help some. Thanks for your response take care.
